MONZA – The last heat of the Porsche Carrera Cup was held from 29 to 31 October at the historic Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. A weekend full of challenges for Aldo Festante, who once again faced the competition with determination and tenacity.

The Porsche Carrera Cup has come to an end with its last stop in Monza in the famous Temple of Speed. A track, with the legendary parabolic curve, its long straights alternating with spectacular braking, already known to the Capua native driver. Aldo pushed hard with his powerful Stuttgart coupe, right from free practice and following qualifying, managing to get the seventh place on the starting grid for Race 1. However, the young pilot from Campania was unable to improve his starting position, finishing the race in thirteenth place.
Race 2, on the other hand, saw Festante recover up to the sixth position, with a very intense race pace. An unexpected contact with another car, unfortunately, led the race direction to inflict a heavy penalty of twenty-five seconds, causing the pilot to be relegated to the twelfth final position.
A not-so-happy weekend for Aldo, who is already working with the Ombra team to analyze what went wrong and correct the shot, to restart in the best possible way next season.

“A very disappointing weekend, during which we could and should have done better. We will learn from this, avoiding episodes like those that penalized us .”
