PAUL RICARD: THE FIRST CHALLENGE OF THE EUROFORMULA OPEN 2019
LE CASTELLET – Everything is ready for the first leg of the Euroformula Open championship at Paul Ricard. Aldo Festante, back from a series of pre-season tests, in which he had the opportunity to adapt to the new engines, is ready to compete on the insidious French track, trying to immediately conquer great results.
The first race of the 2019 Euroformula Open will be held from 27 to 28 April at Paul Ricard.
For Aldo Festante this will be the second time in which he will face the nine arduous stages of the prestigious Formula 3 championship. The use of new engines does not scare Festante, who has made the most of pre-season tests with his team to acquire due confidence, necessary to compete optimally on the various circuits.
For the Capua native pilot, the first rookie year ended satisfactorily, despite the multitude of technical problems, which undermined the success of several races. In this new edition of the Euroformula Open, Festante is determined to exploit the rich wealth of experience acquired previously to become competitive immediately, in order to compete as one of the absolute protagonists of the championship and win the world championship positions.
“The pre-season tests gave us the opportunity to work hard and adapt to the new engines.
I think the team has done a great job to get us drivers in the best position to improve and do well.
Paul Ricard is a tricky circuit, thus it’ll be a great challenge to face from the very first moment and I can’t wait to race!”
