PAUAldo Festante completed the second stage of the Euroformula Open with an eighth place in Race 1. Unfortunately, contact with a car in Race 2 jeopardized the good performance of the race, causing the driver to lose several positions, concluding tenth.

Aldo Festante concluded the second round of the Euroformula Open championship by winning important points. The competition, held in Pau from 18 to 19 May, saw the young Capua native driver face the race in better conditions than the previous stage. In fact, in Race 1, Festante managed to conquer the eighth place, a good result that shows the momentum towards better and better results. Race 2, unfortunately, was conditioned by an unfortunate contact with another car, which damaged Festante’s Dallara causing him to lose several positions. The driver then finished the race in the tenth position.
Despite a bit of bad luck, the second French stage of the championship showed signs of improvement, which makes both Festante and the team confident in the progress of the driver’s performance.
All that remains is to take advantage of the time available, working to the best, to achieve a great result on the German Hockenheim circuit.

“Both races could have been better, especially the second one where I was faultlessly involved in a collision which damaged my car and made me lose several positions, anyway we were twice in the points so we have to take the positive and move onto Hockenheim with confidence “
