VALLELUNGA – An amazing weekend for Aldo Festante, who concluded the fourth stage of the Porsche Carrera Cup with a pole position in qualifying, a fantastic second place in Race 1, and an excellent fifth place in Race 2. As expected, the hard work carried out with the team brought the desired results.

The fourth round of the Porsche Carrera Cup was held from 19 to 20 September on the well-known ACI Vallelunga Circuit, a track on which Festante had already raced in the past. The Capua native pilot gave rise to an electric performance during the weekend, which started with the first position in qualifying that allowed Aldo to start in front of everyone on the starting grid for Race 1. The competition then saw Festante fighting with the other drivers for nineteen laps, finishing in the second position, allowing the young driver to get on the podium again. Race 2 was equally competitive, requiring Aldo to put into practice what he learned with the team in the post-Imola break, to secure the fifth place.
The balance of the weekend turns out to be more than positive, Festante’s placings allowed the young driver to take home important points in the general classification, and, above all, they confirmed that careful teamwork between driver and team is the fundamental ingredient to improve and concretely aspire to the highest positions on the podium.

“A very positive weekend, we gathered and learned a lot, a pole position, a podium and a great P5 in race two with a pretty solid pace. We’re beginning to reap what we sow with our hard work and now we want to achieve even bigger things !”
